Please take note of the images below and ensure the image you take during the verification process is taken in a well-lit room with your full face in focus.

Driving License Or Pass with photo ID

You can select the “driver’s license” option if you are using a drivers license or a photo ID card. Please ensure when uploading a picture of your drivers license ID card that your camera is in portrait mode.

Passport

  1. You can also use a passport to verify your account, please ensure when uploading a picture of your passport that your camera is in portrait mode.
  2. All four corners of your passport should be visible, the picture should be taken with your head facing upright.
  3. Please ensure that your image is clear, and your name and address can clearly be seen it may help if you take the picture in a well light room.

Utility Bill

If using a passport as your form of photo ID we will also need to confirm your address by using a recent utility bill, this can be a bank statement, water bill, council tax bill, etc. The bill needs to be in your name at your address. Please ensure when taking the image of the bill that the full document is in the image and your name and address are not obscured in any way.

Taking your Portrait Photo

To get the best possible call experiance please take note of the following.

Lighting

Rays of sunlight can sometimes cause faces to become distorted and make it difficult for the system to accurately verify people on screen, this would cause the visit to pause so please if possible try to ensure you are in a well-lit room but not in an area where direct sunlight (or any light) is splashing over your face.

Partial faces

The system works best when you or your approved additional visitors are in full view of the camera, any partial faces may result in the call being paused. If you have additional visitors, it would sometimes be best to let each additional visitor have some of their own facetime to avoid a second or even third partial face being detected. However, if you all wish to be onscreen together that’s fine too but you need to remember that the camera should always clearly see all three faces.
